A VALIDATION OF RANS TURBULENCE MODEL FOR ISOTHERMAL JET

Authors performed CFD analysis using RANS turbulence models for the isothermal axial jet in large indoor space. Moreover the RANS turbulence models were evaluated by comparing their prediction performances with experimental data. This paper reports the two results. The first is results of the throw which depends on the turbulence model. The second is a result that we examined about the potential core region which may affect the throw.
