Numerical simulation of air entrainment in hydraulic engineering

An adjusted alpha equation is implemented to the interFoam solver of openfoam. Relevant cases comparing results predicted by the adjusted equation to results predicted by the standard alpha equation in interFoam is shown in this poster presentation.
