Duisburg is reached easily by train, car, plane and inland waterways, though the latter might be not the most common way of transportation. The University building (BA 026), where the workshop will be held is very close to the main station (15 minutes), which connects Duisburg with airports such as Düsseldorf  (15 minutes to Duisburg) and Frankfurt  (1:30 hours). When traveling by car, you can enjoy the large amount of motorways of the Ruhrdistrict: use either the A3, A40, A42, A57 or A59 to come to Duisburg. The venue is fairly close to all of them.
