The Forbidden City, located in the heart of Beijing, is an iconic symbol of ancient Chinese architecture. Built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors across the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Covering an area of 180 acres, it consists of over 9,000 rooms and halls, surrounded by a 10-meter-high wall and a moat.
